Northern Michigan Summers are truly something special.  Wide open spaces abound, trees and forests teem with life, the pace moves noticeably slower, the people seem a might-bit friendlier, the skies seem a bright-bit starrier and well, you just can't beat the warm summer days and those magical firefly nights.

 

Whatever the weather, rain or shine, there's something to enjoy!  Kind of like the Irish saying "there is no bad weather, there are only good clothes" (quote attributed to several people).  Michigan summers (other seasons too) resemble that remark and we're here for all of it!

 

We love Summer Fun's cozy full bed, the stash of old school picnic gear, a vintage camera we got on one of our own summer adventures in Michigan, and some wildly retro-cool golf clubs we got from our Grandma's nonagenarian (that's someone in their 90s!!) friend when she retired her golf game after 50+ years of playing…with the same clubs!
