They’re small. On purpose. Built that way - and we've kept them that way.

Experience a different kind of "Up North" Charm
Leave the hustle and bustle behind and step back into a simpler time. Reminiscent of a vintage motor court, Mackinaw Timbers is perfect for anyone in search of different take on "up north" Michigan charm and nostalgia.
We're a family run camp -literally - and we've thoughtfully restored a 1940's motor inn leaving much of the original charm, but that also means some leaks & creaks, ladybug & bumblebee visitors, maybe even a spider guest or two (to be fair, they were here first)... if you're looking for a manned check-in counter or a 'ritzy' resort experience there are other options in the region that we'd be happy to recommend.

Our cabins bookable online (complete with contactless check-in at the camp). We're located on a (mostly) quiet, rural country road minutes from local attractions and events in downtown Cadillac, Michigan.
